This week's premiere edition will include Coach Long breaking down practice footage in the film room and giving fans an inside look at what the Aztecs will be doing offensively and defensively in 2015. Coming off a fifth straight bowl game, Long will also preview the season ahead. Additionally, assistant coach and special teams coordinator Bobby Hauck was mic'd up at a recent practice, and you'll hear players talking about the team's new uniforms.
The weekly show will once again give access to the SDSU program and Long, the Mountain West's all-time leader in victories and two-time MW Coach of the Year. It will be hosted by Kris Budden and will feature former Aztec wide receiver Brett Swain as the analyst.
SDSU, one of 27 schools to play in a bowl game each of the last five seasons and one of just three from the "Group of 5" conferences, has been picked to win the West Division of the Mountain West by the league's media and multiple publications. San Diego State finished 2014 with a 7-6 record and a 5-3 mark in MW play, and returns eight starters on a defense that ranked 10th in passing, 13th in scoring, 16th in total and 19th in pass efficiency, and Donnel Pumphrey who rushed for a school-record 1,867 yards and 20 touchdowns as a true sophomore, on offense.
The Aztecs kick off their season on Sept. 5 at Qualcomm Stadium vs. San Diego.
