The 2014-15 San Diego State Aztec swimming and diving squad has earned the Team Scholar All-American Award for the 2015 spring semester presented by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for excellence in the classroom.
The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).
The Aztecs qualified for the CSCAA honor by compiling a 3.02 team GPA for the spring semester.
In the pool the Aztec compiled a record of 18-0 in dual meets during the 2014-15 season, won the Mountain West Championship for the third time in five years and sent seven swimmers to the 2015 NCAA Championships.
