The San Diego State football team will play an additional six games on national television in 2015, the Mountain West announced today. The Aztecs are now slated to play seven times on national television this year with additional broadcasts to be announced at later date.

Today's announcement includes home TV games against Fresno State (Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network), Wyoming (Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network) and Nevada (Nov. 28 on ESPN Networks at a time to be determined), and road contests at San José State (Oct. 17 on ESPN Networks at a time to be determined), Colorado State (Oct. 31 at 1:30 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network) and UNLV (Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network).

With the April 15 announcement that SDSU will play host to Utah State on Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2, San Diego State is now slated to play three times on the ESPN Networks (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3) and four games on CBS Sports Network.

ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will announce additional telecasts in the coming weeks. Additionally, the Aztecs' non-conference road contests at California (Sept. 12) and Penn State (Sept. 26) could also be broadcast on national TV.

SDSU, which is one of 27 schools to play in a bowl game each of the last five seasons and one of just three from the "Group of 5" conferences, finished 2014 with a 7-6 record and 5-3 in MW play. San Diego State returns eight starters on a defense that finished the year with national ranks of 10th in passing, 13th in scoring, 16th in total and 19th in pass efficiency, as well as running back Donnel Pumphrey, who rushed for a school-record 1,867 yards and 20 touchdowns as a true sophomore, on offense.
