AZUSA, Calif. - The San Diego State track and field team continued to achieve top marks at the nearby Bryan Clay Invitational in addition to its performances at the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday.

In the 100 meters, Micha Auzenne ran a career-best time of 11.68 which was the sixth-fastest time overall. Jazmen Bunch (11.97) came in 14th and later went on to run the 200 meters in an impressive 24.12 seconds, putting her in ninth place.

Starlynn Singleton (12.19) finished 17th in the 100 meters while Kira Moreland took 40th after passing the finish line in 12.49 seconds.

Out of 79 athletes competing in the 400, freshman Simone Glenn came in 15th at 56.28 while sophomore Janice George (58.35) finished in 38th.

Ellison Grove placed fourth in a field of 114 athletes with a time of 2:10.40 in the 800pas. Meanwhile, Madison Gipson improved in the 100-meter hurdles, passing the finish line in eighth place after clocking in at 13.93.

Following her remarkable performance in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Elaine Ribeiro climbs to No. 4 in SDSU's all-time rankings after taking 20th out of 61 in a time of 11:03.61.

Sophomore Kira Moreland tied for 14th in the long jump with a season-best leap of 18-05.00.

Jasmine Burrell came just shy of taking the title in the discus with a heave of 171-03, while Alexa Evans (161-00) came in 7th and Ariel Oliver (145-09) took 15th.

As of press time, the results of the 5,000 (Cassidy Towner, Lily Seynaeve and Vanessa Estrada) were not available.

The Aztecs will continue action at the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday. SDSU is set to compete beginning at 1:25 p.m. PT.
