Big Notes
• Donnel Pumphrey rushed for 261 yards, the eighth most in school history and most since Larry Ned had 285 vs. Eastern Illinois on Oct. 6, 2001.
• Donnel Pumphrey recorded his ninth 100-yard rushing game of the season (in 12 games) and 13h of his career with 261 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries (12.4). The nine 100-yard rushing games are tied with Ronnie Hillman (2011) and George Jones (1995) for the most in SDSU single-season history, while the 12 career 100-yard games are tied for sixth all-time with Jonas Lewis (1996-99).
• San Diego State won its eighth straight game at home, which is its longest streak since a 16-game stretch from Oct. 16, 1976-Nov. 5, 1978. The seven-game home winning streak coming into the weekend was tied for the 13th-longest active home winning streak in the nation.
• The Aztecs improved to 6-0 at home this season. It's SDSU's first undefeated home regular season since 1996 and just the second in the past 37 years (since 1977). San Diego State has now gone unbeaten at home during the regular season six times in the Division I era (also 1996, 1977, 1974, 1972 and 1969).
• SDSU held its eighth straight opponent below 400 total yards. The eight games holding its opponent under 400 yards of total offense is tied for the third-longest streak in the country.
• The Aztecs improved to 15-7 (.682) over their last 22 games dating back to last season with two of those losses coming to nationally ranked opponents.
• Each of SDSU's seven wins this year have been by double digits. Last year, when San Diego State finished 8-5 with a 6-2 mark in league play, it had two double-digit wins. Coming into the weekend, the Aztecs were one of just four teams with a winning record with each of its victories coming by double digits (also Arkansas, Miami (Fla.) and Rice).
• The Aztecs' 393 rushing yards were the fourth most in their Division I history (since 1969) and tied for the ninth most in program history.
• SDSU won its 13th straight game when rushing for at least 200 yards. San Diego State is 21-2 in the Rocky Long era when reaching 200 rushing yards.
• The Aztecs have a 100-yard rusher in 17 of their last 22 games and a total of 19, 100-yard efforts during that span.
Team Notes
• The Aztecs have won 11 of their last 14 games in November and 13 of their last 17 in the month.
• SDSU has now gone 102 games without suffering a shutout (Nov. 18, 2006 at TCU), which is the third-longest active streak among current Mountain West schools (Air Force at 269 and Boise State at 221 (BSU plays later Saturday).
• San Diego State had its largest lead at the half (21 points) since leading Northern Arizona, 24-0, at the half in the season opener on Aug. 30.
• The Aztecs held their opponent scoreless in the first half for the first time since the opener vs. NAU.
• SDSU held its opponent scoreless through three quarters for the first time since Sept. 4, 2010 vs. Nicholls.
• San Diego State hadn't allowed a point in five consecutive quarters for the first time since Nov. 8-15, 2003. That was tied for the longest streak since at least 2001. The Aztecs allowed a touchdown late in the fourth quarter, making 89 minutes, 20 seconds (89:20) without allowing a point, dating back to the Air Force game.
• SDSU allowed fewer than 10 points in a game for the second time this season, marking the first time it has accomplished the feat since 2012.
• San Diego State completed just four passes, its fewest in a win since 1980 (SDSU had three and four completions in wins that year) and third fewest in its Division I era (since 1969).
• The Aztecs improved to 27-3 in their DI era when reaching 283 yards.
• SDSU's rushing attack accounted for 393 of its 427 yards of offense (92.0 percent).

• SDSU started with the ball for the 38th time in the last 40 games.
• San Diego State held its opponent without a point on its opening drive for the 10th time in 12 games this year.
• SDSU held its opponent without a touchdown on its second-half opening drive for 30th time in its last 32 games. San Diego State has allowed just 29 points over the past 32 second-half opening drives.
• The Aztecs scored points on its opening possession of both halves for the second straight game and third time this year.
• The Aztecs now have at least one rushing TD in 23 of their last 24 games.
