Aztecs Look For 5th Straight Season With At Least 7 Wins and Complete First Perfect Home Season Since 1996 On Senior Day
• Having secured bowl eligibility for a fifth consecutive season, San Diego State looks to send its senior class out with a win and extend a seven-game home winning streak when the Aztecs face West Division foe San José State. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on Saturday.
• The teams are meeting for the 38th time overall, with the Spartans owning a 19-16-2 series advantage. This is the 17th meeting in San Diego, with the Aztecs owning a 9-6-1 advantage in America's Finest City.
• SDSU snapped a three-game losing streak in the series with a 34-30 decision last season at Spartan Stadium. SDSU overcame a 14-point deficit and an 11-point fourth quarter deficit to win the game.
• Saturday marks Senior Day for 16 Aztecs who are playing in their final regular-season home game. SDSU has won four straight senior games and are 9-2 in their last 11 Senior Day games.

It Is All About The Program
• San Diego State is currently tied for first in the Western Division of the Mountain West and can advance to the league's championship game with a win Saturday and a Hawai'i victory at Fresno State (4 p.m. PT). #Win20
• San Diego State is one of four teams in the nation to have a winning record with each of its victories coming by double figures. The other four teams are Arkansas, Miami (Fla.) and Rice.
• The Aztecs have advanced to a bowl game for a school-record four consecutive seasons. Only 29 schools in the country have advanced to a bowl game the last four seasons and the only California schools to do it are SDSU and Stanford.

Winning At Aztec Warrior Stadium
• SDSU enters Saturday with a seven-game home field winning streak. That is the 13th-longest active home win streak in the nation.
• SDSU's last home win streak of at least eight games was a 16-game stretch from Oct. 16, 1976 through Nov. 5, 1978.
• San Diego State has won eight consecutive home games against teams that were not ranked in the top 25 at the time of the game.
• Entering action this week, the Aztecs five home games are tied for the 5th fewest in all of FBS.
• SDSU is 5-0 at home this season. The Aztecs have not completed a perfect home record in a season since 1996, when SDSU went 6-0 at home en route to an 8-3 overall record.

Ministers of Defense
• San Diego State leads the Mountain West in total defense (347.3) and is second in scoring defense (21.3). Nationally, the Aztecs are 26th in scoring defense, 28th in total defense and 37th in turnovers forced (20).
• The Aztecs have held seven straight opponents to less than 400 yards of total offense. That is the 4th longest active streak in the country.

Ground Game Delivers
• SDSU ranks 34th in rushing yards per game (202.7) and 24th in yards per rush (5.3).
• San Diego State has won 12 consecutive games and is 23-2 since Oct. 16, 2010, when rushing for 200 or more yards.
• Sophomore Donnel Pumphrey is coming off his eighth 100-yard rushing effort of the season. The Doak Walker Award candidate ranks fifth nationally and first in the MW in rushing yards per game (135.8), ninth in rushing touchdowns (16) and 16th in rushing yards per carry (6.38). He has 2,246 yards and 24 rushing TDs in his career.
