SAN DIEGO - San Diego State football strength and conditioning coach Adam Hall will take over SDSU athletics' official Twitter account, @GoAztecs, on Tuesday, Aug. 5, beginning at noon PT. Hall will answer tweets from Twitter users that utilize the hashtag #AztecFBLive.
The former Aztec quarterback is entering his third season at San Diego State following a two-year stint at Texas where he was an offensive graduate assistant (2010) and recruiting coordinator (2011). Prior to his time at Texas, Hall worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at SDSU from January 2009 to May 2010 under then-head strength and conditioning coach Aaron Wellman.
As an Aztec quarterback, Hall needed just three seasons to hit the 5,000-yard mark, becoming one of only nine players to accomplish the feat in program history. For his career, he finished with 423 completions, 5,173 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. A 2003 Davey O'Brien Award nominee, Hall was an honorable mention all-league choice as a junior before serving as team captain in his final campaign.
Hall is the third member of the football program to take over the @GoAztecs Twitter account, following in the footsteps of Terry Poole and Derek Largent. The duo took over the account prior to Mountain West football media day back on July 22.
Football will report to camp on Sunday, Aug. 3, before hitting the gridiron on Monday, Aug. 4, for the team's first official practice. The season opener is slated for Aug. 30, vs. Northern Arizona at Qualcomm Stadium. Season tickets are available at GoAztecs.com.
