COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Six San Diego State track and field athletes have been named to the all-Mountain West Team, the league announced today. All-MW selections are awarded to the top-three finishers in each event.

All six of the all-conference picks made all-league in multiple events, including three - Kristen Brown (100 hurdles, 4x100 relay, pole vault), Nicole Oudenaarden (long jump, javelin throw, heptathlon) and Meritzer Williams (100, 200, 4x100 relay) - in three events apiece.

Jasmine Burrell (shot put, discus throw), Allison Reaser (4x100 relay, heptathlon) and Shanieka Thomas (4x100 relay, triple jump) were each honored in two events.

The Aztecs won their second straight MW outdoor title (also 2013), third overall in outdoor (also 2003) and fourth overall championship (also 2013 indoor).

Brown won both the 100 hurdles (13.37) and pole vault (12-10.25 (3.92m)), and ran a leg of the runner-up 4x100-meter relay (45.14). The 100 hurdles time of 13.37 was the 10th-fastest in school history, while the 45.14 4x100 relay mark ranks in a tie for ninth all-time at SDSU.

Oudenaarden, who was named the meet's Most Outstanding Performer, won the heptathlon (5,697 points), took third in the long jump (wind-aided 19-11.50 (6.08m)) and third in the javelin (144-05). Oudenaarden also scored in the 4x400 relay (sixth, 3:47.57) and high jump (tied-eighth, 5-05.00 (1.65m)), and was 11th in the shot put (43-09.25 (13.34m)).

Williams, meanwhile, claimed the 200 crown in 23.62, took second in the 100 (11.51) and ran a leg on the runner-up 4x100 relay (45.14). All three events were top-10 marks at San Diego State, including the eighth fastest in the 200, No. 7 in the 100 and tied for ninth in the 4x100. Williams also ran a leg on the sixth-place 4x400 team (3:47.47).

Burrell earned all-league honors in the discus throw and shot put, taking second in the former (179-04 (45.67m)) and third in the latter (50-00.75 (15.26m)). She also was 11th in the hammer throw (180-06 (55.01m)).

Reaser captured all-conference accolades in the heptathlon after taking second with 5,530 points and in the 4x100 relay as the team took second in 45.14, which is tied for the ninth fastest in school history. She was also fourth in the 100 hurdles (13.55 and 400 hurdles (59.96), ran a leg in the sixth-place 4x400 relay (3:47.47) and ninth in the long jump (18-09.75 (5.73m)).

Thomas is the last Aztec to earn all-league honors as she won her third consecutive triple jump title with a leap of 44-09.50 (13.65m) and ran a leg in the second-place 4x100 relay (45.15 (tied for ninth all-time at SDSU)). She also scored as a member of the 4x400 relay (sixth, 3:47.47)) and in the long jump (seventh, 19-04.25 (5.90m)).

Additionally, San Diego State head coach Shelia Burrell was named the Women's Coach of the Year.

The NCAA West Regional (preliminaries in Fayetteville, Ark.) field will be released Thursday around 10 a.m. PT, along with the heptathlon for the NCAA Championships (finals) in Eugene, Ore.
