NAPA, Calif. - San Diego State's Emma Henrikson (Malmö, Sweden) fired a 4-over par 76 on Tuesday to lead the Aztec women's golf team during the final round of the Silverado Showdown at the renowned Silverado Resort and Spa. As a team, SDSU finished 15th in its final tournament of the 2013-14 regular season after posting a collective 314 for a 54-hole total of 929 (+65) on the par-72, 6,196-yard North Course.

After draining a birdie putt on her first hole of the day, the par-4, 336-yard 17th, Henrikson endured a rough patch of four bogeys and a double-bogey over her next 10 holes, before closing fast with six pars and a birdie. With her effort, the Aztec sophomore climbed five spots into a tie for 40th at 13-over 229.

SDSU's next two highest finishers were not as fortunate, however, as Paige Spiranac (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Sirene Blair (South Jordan, Utah) tumbled on the individual leaderboard after both players shot an 80 on Tuesday. Spiranac's round began ominously with a double-bogey and a bogey, and the Aztec junior was unable to recover, slipping nine places into a tie for 46th at 15-over 231.

Blair also experienced a rash of bogeys, recording eight on the day to drop eight places into the 49th position, one stroke behind Spiranac at 16-over 232. The SDSU freshman was 5-over through six holes, but appeared to grab new life with a stretch of three pars and a birdie on the par-5, 502-yard No. 5. However, four bogeys on the back nine derailed her momentum.

Meanwhile, Amy Alston (Mission Viejo, Calif.) completed her first start of the season in a tie for 65th with a combined 22-over 238 after posting a final-round 79. The Aztec junior weathered four bogeys and two double-bogeys before finishing strong with four pars along with a birdie on the 17th green.

Rounding out the SDSU lineup was senior Maureen Dunnagan (Lexington, S.C.), who ended the tournament in 68th at 25-over 241. The Aztec senior tied Alston with a 79 on the day, highlighted by two birdies, including a make on her final hole, No. 17.

Washington was a double winner on Tuesday, capturing the team title and boasting the individual champion as SooBin Kim (-9) jumped two places after shooting a final-round 68 to edge Arizona's Lindsay Weaver (-8) for medalist honors. Jennifer Coleman of Colorado (-6) followed closely behind in third, while San José State's Regan De Guzman (-5) and Manon DeRoey (-2) rounded out a top-heavy leaderboard.

As a team, the Huskies (-3) led wire-to-wire, carding a collective 280 over the final 18 holes to easily outdistance runner-up USC (+10), while Northwestern (+12) took third, followed by Oregon State (+19), Oregon (+22) and Arizona (+22).

San Diego State will now have eight days to prepare for the Mountain West Championships, scheduled for April 24-26, at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
