The American Family Insurance ALL-USA High School Volleyball Team was selected by USA Today and was based on players' performance during the 2013 high school season.

In its 29th year of honoring the nation's best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with USA TODAY High School Sports, has announced Eckenrode as its 2013-14 Gatorade Texas Volleyball Player of the Year.

The award, which recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field, distinguishes Eckenrode as Texas's best high school volleyball player.

San Diego State concluded its 2013 campaign with a record of 16-14 overall and 11-9 in the Mountain West Conference. Included in that ledger is a win over No. 9 Colorado State in Fort Collins as the Aztecs handed CSU its only loss of the regular season and finished tied for fourth in the 11-team league.
