SAN DIEGO - Junior Kelsey Booth scored a goal in the 89th minute off an assist from senior Carli Johnson, lifting the San Diego State women's soccer team to a senior-day victory over Nevada, 2-1, on Sunday at SDSU Sports Deck.

The Aztecs out-shot Nevada 33-5 for the game, while SDSU had an 11-0 edge in corner kicks. Junior forward Hannah Keane finished with a team-high nine shots, while Booth, sophomore Victoria Barba, senior Sophie Metz and junior Katie Perry recorded four shots apiece.

San Diego State responded to an early Nevada goal in the 13th minute, as Barba's goal on a penalty kick in the 15th minute knotted the score, 1-1. The score remain tied until Booth's heroics in the second to last minute, although she and Metz each had shots sail high in the final 10 minutes of the match.

SDSU returns to action on Friday, Oct. 25, as it hits the road to face Boise State. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. MT.
