Youth All Skills Camp | Winter Prospect Camp
The San Diego State baseball program has announced the dates for its annual Aztec Youth All Skills Camp and the Winter Prospect Camp. Both camps are scheduled for December during the Christmas break and are run by the SDSU coaching staff, including head coach and MLB Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn.
The Youth All Skills Camp is set for Dec. 21-22 and is open to any and all players 7-13 years of age. This two-day camp is designed to help players take their game to the next level and will cover all aspects of the game. Instruction will include the proper techniques of hitting, pitching, catching, infield, outfield, base running and team defense.
The Winter Prospect Camp will be held Dec. 28-29 and is available for any and all high school aged players. This camp is a great opportunity for prospective college baseball players to be seen closely and be evaluated by the San Diego State coaching staff. Every player will get individualized quality instruction in order to improve their game and help them get to the next level. The coaching staff will cover all aspects of the game during morning drill work and the players will get a chance to display their talents during afternoon games.
Both camps will be held at Tony Gwynn Stadium on the San Diego State campus and will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. The cost of each two-day camp is $225. For more information, click on the Camp Flyer links at the top of this page or visit the camp registration site by clicking here.
