Oregon State-San Diego State Postgame Notes
General Notes
• Tonight's attendance of 32,133 was the largest non-SkyShow home crowd since Dec. 3, 2011 vs. Fresno State.
• The Aztecs held Oregon State to 10 yards rushing, which is the eighth-fewest rushing yards allowed in SDSU single-game history.
• The Aztecs scored 24 points in the first half, their most in the first half against an AQ BCS school since scoring 31 at Kansas on Sept. 25, 1999.
Trends
• The Aztecs have received the ball first in 18 straight games, the longest streak in the nation.
• SDSU scored a touchdown on its opening drive for the first time since Oct. 13, 2012 vs. Colorado State. San Diego State went eight games in between without scoring a touchdown on its opening possession (the Aztecs did kick a field goal in their first possession vs. Eastern Illinois in the opener, the only time they scored on their first drive since that Colorado State game).
• SDSU has now gone 80 games without suffering a shutout (Nov. 18, 2006 at TCU). That is the only time San Diego State has been shut out in its last 175 games.
• The Aztecs held their opponent scoreless on their opening drive for the first time this season.
• SDSU's 14 points in the first quarter was its most since also scoring 14 vs. Hawai'i on Oct. 6, 2012. San Diego State is now 9-1 in its last 10 games when scoring at least 14 points in the first quarter.
• The Aztecs fell to 9-2 in the Rocky Long era when leading at the half. • SDSU dropped to 15-3 in the Rocky Long era when leading after three quarters.
Series Notes
• San Diego State dropped to 2-2 all-time against Oregon State, including 1-1 at home. The Aztecs won the first two games in the series (17-8 at home on Sept. 8, 1972 and 25-0 in Portland (neutral) on Sept. 13, 1975) before falling in Corvallis, 35-3, in the last meeting on Sept. 23, 2000.

* Quinn Kaehler, Jr., QB (16-for-25, 251 yds., 2 TD, 2 INT)
• Became just the second walk-on quarterback to start a game this season (including prospective starters this weekend). The other was Texas Tech's Baker Mayfield, who was 3-0 entering its game vs. Texas State tonight.
• Posted career highs in passing yards (251) and touchdowns (2).
* Colin Lockett, Sr., WR/KR (5 rec., 113 yds., 1 TD) | (4 KR, 101 yds.)
• Recorded his fourth career 100-yard receiving game and first since Dec. 3, 2011 vs. Fresno State. His four career 100-yard receiving games ranks in a tie for 25th all-time at SDSU.
• Had an 80-yard touchdown catch, SDSU's longest since Vincent Brown caught a 90-yard pass from Ryan Lindley on Nov. 20, 2010 vs. Utah.
• It was his 16th touchdown of his career (12 receiving, 3 kickoff return, 1 rushing).
• Had a 35-yard kickoff return, the longest by an Aztec this season.
• Posted a season high with 113 yards receiving.
* Adam Muema, Jr., RB (28 att., 71 yds. 1 TD) | (2 rec., 12 yds.)
• Passed Art Preston (1949-51) into 14th place on SDSU's all-time rushing list. He currently has 1,804 yards in his career.
• Set a career-high with 28 rushing attempts. His previous high was 26 vs. Brigham Young (Dec. 20, 2012).
• Had his first rushing touchdown of the season and 20th of his career. It was also his first overall touchdown of the year and 22nd overall (also two receiving).
• Muema had gone three straight games without a touchdown after recording four at Wyoming on Nov. 24, 2012.
• Moved into sole possession of eighth place on the school's all-time rushing touchdown list, breaking a tie with Kevin O'Connell (2004-07) and David Turner (1976-77).
* Donnel Pumphrey, T-Fr., RB (4 att., 10 yds.) | (3 rec., 53 yds., 1 TD)
• Had his first career touchdown, a 23-yard pass from Quinn Kaehler on the opening drive.
• That was the second passing touchdown of the season.
• Set career highs for receptions (3) and receiving yards (53).
* Wes Feer, Sr., K (3-for-3 FGs, 3-for-3 PATs)
• Remained perfect on the season in both field goal attempts (7-for-7) and PATs (5-for-5 entering game)
• Is now 3-for-3 from 40-plus yards on the season.
• Connected on a career-long 45-yard field goal.
* King Holder, Jr., DB (11 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 2 PBUs)
• Had a career-high 11 tackles. His previous best was nine last year at Fresno State.
• Also added a career-high 2 PBUs and matched his personal best with 1.0 TFL.
Other Notes
• Chad Young had a catch for the eighth straight game, the longest active streak on the team.
• Nick Tenhaeff had his first sack of the season and sixth of his career. He also had a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss.
• Damontae Kazee forced his second fumble in his third career game.
• Nat Berhe recovered his second fumble of the season and fourth of his career. • Eric Pinkins tied his career high with eight tackles. He also had eight vs. Boise State (Nov. 3, 2012).
• Kickoff specialist/punter Seamus McMorrow had his fourth career tackle (three solos).
