SAN DIEGO - Registration is now open for this summer's 2013 San Diego State Lacrosse Camp, which will be held June 25-27 at SDSU. The second-annual camp is open to girls ages 13-18.
The camp will be directed by second-year coach Kylee White, who is the first lacrosse coach in SDSU history. It will feature an advanced skills program focused on position play, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Campers will also have an opportunity to compete in games against each other.
During all sessions, goalies will be trained on their individual technique, as well as receive instructions in game-like situations. In addition, each goalkeeper will participate in drills designed to include goalies as an integral part of team defense.
Overnight and commuter options are available, as well as team discounts. Each player will receive a reversible Nike practice jersey, in addition to Nike and STX prizes for outstanding play, sportsmanship and improvement. A beach bonfire is also planned for the final night of camp.
