COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Nine San Diego State track and field athletes were named to the all-Mountain West Team, the league announced today. All-MW selections are awarded to the top-three finishers in each event.

Three Aztecs earned all-conference accolades in three events apiece, including Allison Reaser (heptathlon, 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles), LaQuisha Jackson (100, 200, 4x400 relay) and Shanieka Thomas (long jump, triple jump, 4x400 relay).

Three others - Brittany Bozeman (heptathlon, javelin throw), Kristen Brown (100 hurdles, pole vault) and Deyna Roberson (400 hurdles, 4x400 relay) - were all-league selections in multiple events, while Jasmine Burrell (discus throw), Alex Evans (triple jump) and Maderia Toatley (4x400 relay) each were honored in one event.

SDSU won its second-ever MW outdoor title (also 2003) and third overall MW championship (also 2013 indoor).

Reaser, who was named the meet's Most Outstanding Performer, won both the heptathlon (5,612 points) and the 100 hurdles (13.41), and was third in the 400 hurdles (59.08).

Jackson claimed both the 100 (wind-aided 11.31) and 200 (23.23) and anchored the winning 4x400 relay (3:35.41) and Thomas took the long jump (wind-aided 20-07.25 (6.28m)) and triple jump (46-06.25 (14.15m)) titles and ran the opening leg of the winning 4x400 relay.

Bozeman came in second in the heptathlon (5,221 points) and third in the javelin (143-06 (43.74m)), Brown captured the pole vault (13-07.25 (4.15m)) title and took second in the 100 hurdles (13.60) and Roberson won the 400 hurdles (58.36) and ran the third leg of the winning 4x400 relay.

Burrell won the discus (181-05, 55.31m)), Evans finished runner-up in the triple jump (42-09.00 (13.03m)) and Toatley ran the second leg of the championship 4x400 relay.

Additionally, San Diego State head coach Shelia Burrell was named the Women's Coach of the Year.

The NCAA West Regional (preliminaries in Austin, Texas) field will be released Thursday around 10 a.m. PT, along with the heptathlon entries for the NCAA Championships (finals) in Eugene, Ore.
