SAN DIEGO - San Diego State's series-opening game at Colorado State, scheduled for Friday, has been postponed due to a snow storm and unplayable field conditions.
The Aztecs (30-17, 8-4 MW) and the Rams (21-22, 7-5 MW) were slated to kick off the three-game series, which featured the top-two teams in the Mountain West, on Friday at 4 p.m. MT. Instead, that contest will be played as part of a doubleheader on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on how quickly the field conditions improve.
SDSU is also supposed to play in Fort Collins, Colo., at 1 p.m. MT Saturday and 1 p.m. PT Sunday.
The announcement of the full weekend schedule will be made Friday.
