INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The San Diego State swimming and diving team concluded its run at the 2013 NCAA Championships in Indianapolis on Saturday with three individuals and one relay team competing in the prelims. The Aztecs wereuinable to advance any athletes to Saturday's finals and ended the met with two team points as it scored on the national stage for the third consecutive year.

Senior Leona Jennings got the day started for SDSU as she finished 27th in the 200 backstroke with a mark of 1:55.14.

Teammates Katelyn Weddle and Mikaela Macklin competed in different heats in the 200 breaststroke prelims Saturday morning as well. Weddle place 34th with a time of 2:12.18 while Macklin was 43rd with mark of 2:13.95.

In the 400 freestyle relay, the foursome of Chelsea Bailey, Leona Jennings, Whitney Weisz and Meghan Zimmer turned in a time of 3:19.17 to finish 23rd in the event. Their time was the second-best ever for an Aztec 400 free relay team.

San Diego State thus concludes its 201-2-13 campaign during which it compiled a record of 10-1 in dual meets, won the Mountain West championship for the second time in three years and produced the conference swimmer of the year as well as 14 all-conference honorees.
