GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The San Diego State women's golf team moved up two spots into 13th place on Saturday during the second round of the SunTrust Gator Invitational on the par-70, 6,002-yard Mark Bostick Golf Course. The Aztecs shaved a collective 10 strokes off their score from the previous day, posting a 302 over the second 18 holes for a collective total of 54-over par 614.

On the individual leaderboard, sophomore transfer Paige Spiranac (Scottsdale, Ariz.) finds herself in a tie for 19th after firing a 73 during the second round for a combined 7-over 147.

In addition, Emma Henrikson (Malmö, Sweden) carded SDSU's lowest score of the tournament thus far with a 72, finishing with a birdie and three pars to vault 21 places into a tie for the 27th position at 9-over 149.

Senior Christine Wong (Richmond, B.C.) also displayed upward mobility on Saturday, climbing six spots into a tie for 65th at 17-over 157 following a second-round 76. Elsewhere, junior Rebecca Schneider (Cave Creek, Ariz.) sits nine shots in back of Wong in 76th at 26-over 166, while sophomore Kristina Lynn (Carlsbad, Calif.) ended the day in a tie for 77th at 27-over 167.

Third-ranked Alabama (+19) owns a three-shot lead over No. 4 Oklahoma (+22) and the host school fifth-ranked Florida (+22) in the team standings, while No. 21 Oklahoma State (+25) and Virginia (+26) round out the top five. Oklahoma's Chirapat Jao-Javanil (-3) finds herself atop the individual leaderboard after the second round, three strokes ahead of Portland Rosen (E) of Virginia.

The SunTrust Gator Invitational concludes on Sunday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET. SDSU will be grouped with Kent State and South Florida.
