SAN DIEGO - San Diego State defender Rachael McGlinchy has been named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's Team of the Week. The senior is the lone honoree from the Mountain West on the 11-player squad.

The Pleasanton, Calif., native was an instrumental part of No. 6/9/6 San Diego State winning its second MW Tournament title after picking up victories over UNLV and New Mexico this past weekend.
On Friday, McGlinchy played 82 minutes and anchored a defense that held UNLV to zero shots in the first half and just two total shot attempts in a 3-0 victory. In the MW Championship match against New Mexico on Sunday, she played all 90 minutes as SDSU held the Lobos to just two shots on goal in a 2-0 win.
The Aztecs (19-1-1) return to action on Saturday as they play host to Cal State Northridge in the NCAA Tournament. The opening round matchup is scheduled for a 7 p.m. PT start at SDSU Sports Deck.
