SDSU Tied For 12th After First Round in Washington

SAMMAMISH, Wash. -- After 18 holes of action on Monday, the San Diego State women's golf team finds itself in a tie for 12th with a score of 34-over 322 at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at the par-72, 6,054-yard Sahalee Country Club.

Freshman Emma Henrikson currently leads the Aztecs as she sits in a tie for 30th after shooting an opening round of 5-over (77). Sophomore Amy Alston and senior Christine Wong are also both in the top-50 as they each carded a first round effort 7-over 79 (T-43rd).

Aztec sophomore Kristina Lynn, meanwhile, tallied a 15-over 87 as she is tied for 75th place. Junior Maureen Dunnagan finished the day with a 19-over 91 to finish 83rd.

San Diego State begins the second round of competition Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. PT from the No. 10 tee. Live stats are available at golfstat.com.
