SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's golf team is set to compete at the three-day Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational starting Monday at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.

The Aztecs will play single 18-hole rounds Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the par-72, 6,054-yard Sahalee CC, which is the same facility that has played host to the 2010 U.S. Senior Open, the 2002 NEC World Championship and the 1998 PGA Championship. Monday will get underway at 9 a.m. PT, Tuesday is set for a 10:30 a.m. PT start, and Wednesday will commence at 8 a.m. PT.

SDSU will take Christine Wong, Emma Henrikson, Maureen Dunnagan, Kristina Lynn and Amy Alston to the Pacific Northwest, and the fivesome will be joined by the hosts, Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, Oregon, Oregon State, Portland State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Seattle U, Stanford, UC Davis, UC Irvine and UNLV.

The tournament represents the third of the fall season for the Aztecs. Earlier this year, San Diego State finished in a tie for 13th place at the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., before producing a tied-for-11th-place effort at the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo., Sept. 24-26.

At the Golfweek Conference Challenge, Wong turned in the Aztecs' top performance over 54 holes, shooting a 4-over 220 to finish in a tie for 13th place. Wong also carded the low round of the tournament for SDSU as she fired a 2-under 70 during first-round action. Emma Henrikson, meanwhile, finished at 12-over (T-36th) in Vail, after turning in a 5-over 224 (T-25th) to lead San Diego State at the Dick McGuire Invite.
