San Diego State-UNLV Football Postgame Notes
Team Notes
• San Diego State finished with multiple 100-yard rushers for the second time this season and 16th time in program history. It's the second time in school history that SDSU has had two players each break 100-yard rushing in two games in the same season (also 1998 when Jonas Lewis and Larry Ned did it).
• With the win, San Diego State became bowl eligible for the third consecutive season.
• The Aztecs claimed their sixth victory of the season tonight (Oct. 27), the fifth-earliest date for a sixth win in the Division I era and the earliest date for a sixth victory since 1993.
• SDSU won its fourth consecutive game, which matches its longest winning streak contained in the same year since 1995 (does not include win streaks carried over from season to season). San Diego State also had four-game winning streaks in 2010 and 1998.
• The Aztecs have outscored their opponents, 153-79, over their four-game winning streak. The 74-point scoring margin is their largest in a four-game winning streak in one season since 1995 (+91 from Oct. 14-Nov. 4, 1995).
• SDSU's Adam Dingwell earned his first career start at quarterback. He became the 38th different quarterback to start a game for San Diego State in the Division I era and just the fifth over the past 74 games.
• Jordan Smith (TE) joined Dingwell as a player making his first start tonight. San Diego State has now had 15 players make their first start with the Aztecs this season and 13 earn their first Division I start.
• SDSU has received the ball first in all nine games this season.
• San Diego State held its opponent without a first down to open the second half for the third straight game. Opponents have -(minus)20 yards in those drives.
• The Aztecs scored a touchdown on their opening drive of the second half for the third time in the past five games and for the fourth time overall.
• SDSU was 2-for-2 on fourth down conversions tonight and is 9-for-14 (64.3 percent) on the season. Last year it was 9-for-23 (39.1 percent).
• San Diego State won a game in which it had a negative-3 turnover margin for the first time since Nov. 6, 2012 against Colorado State.
Trends
• San Diego State has now scored a touchdown in 73 consecutive games.
• The Aztecs have at least one rushing touchdown in 17 consecutive games (dating back to the Oct. 8, 2011 contest vs. TCU), their longest stretch since a 19-game streak from Nov. 25, 1989-Oct. 12, 1991.
• SDSU improved to 4-1 this season when leading after the first quarter and 9-1 in the Rocky Long era.
• San Diego State improved to 5-0 this season and 8-0 in the Rocky Long era when leading at the half.
• The Aztecs improved to 5-1 this season and 12-1 in the Rocky Long era when leading after three quarters.
• SDSU has scored in 15 of its last 16 quarters.
Series Notes
• SDSU improved to 14-8 all-time against UNLV and has now won nine of the last 11 encounters between the two teams.
• San Diego State is now 9-3 against the Rebels in San Diego with six straight wins in the series.
Coach Rocky Long Notes
• Improved to 14-8 as head coach with the Aztecs. The .636 winning percentage is the third highest in program history, trailing only Don Coryell (.840) and Claude Gilbert (.697).
• The 14-8 mark as head coach by Rocky Long is the best 22-game start by an SDSU head coach since Claude Gilbert went 17-3-2 during the 1973 and 1974 seasons.
• Picked up his 76th win while coaching in the Mountain West. Long had 62 wins with New Mexico in the Mountain West (1999-2008) and has 14 over the past two years with San Diego State. Long's 76 Mountain West wins only trails Gary Patterson of TCU, who had 77.

• Threw for a career-high 231 yards in his first career start.
• The 231 passing yards were the second most by an Aztec quarterback this season.
• Had a career-long 52-yard pass to Gavin Escobar.
* Adam Muema, So., RB (21 att., 143 yds.)
• Broke 100 yards rushing for the fourth time this season and fifth time of his career. The five career 100-yard rushing games are tied for the 15th most in program history.
• The 143 yards were the second most of his career and the most since his 202-yard game vs. San Jose State on Sept. 22.
Gavin Escobar, Jr., TE (4 rec., 108 yds., 1 TD)
• Broke 100 yards receiving for the second time this season and fourth time in his career.
• Caught his fifth touchdown pass of the season and 16th of his career.
• Moved into 21st-place on the school's all-time reception list with 110, passing Kassim Osgood (108 rec., 2002).
• Caught a pass for the 16th consecutive game and two or more for the 27th time of his career.
• Caught a season-long 52-yard pass from Adam Dingwell.
* Walter Kazee, Sr., RB (21 att., 107 yds., 1 TD)
• Broke 100 yard rushing for the second time this season and fourth time of his career.
• He passed Art Preston (1,664 yds., 1949-51) and moved into 13th place on the school's all-time rushing chart with 1,674 yards.
• Had his seventh rushing touchdown of the season and 16th of his career, and now has 11 rushing scores over his last 11 games.
* Colin Lockett, Jr., WR (3 rec., 51 yds., 1 TD)
• Caught his third touchdown pass of the season and 11th of his career.
• Had multiple receptions for the fourth time this year and 17th time of his career.
* Jake Fely, So., LB (11 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 2.0 TFL, 1 FF)
• Had 2.0 sacks for the second time in three games.
• Now has 7.0 sacks for the season and 9.5 for his career.
• Forced his first fumble of the season and fourth of his career.
• Had 11 tackles, his second career game with double-digit tackles.
* Seamus McMorrow, Fr., P (3 punts for 133 yards (44.3 avg.), 2 Inside 20)
• Two of his three punts were over 50 yards, including a 56-yarder.
• Also tied his career-high two punts inside the 20.
• Five of his last eight punts have been inside the 20-yard line.
Other Notes
• Nik Embernate started for the 42nd time of his career, the most of any current Aztec.
• Alec Johnson and Leon McFadden each started for the 35th consecutive game (most on the team).
• Brice Butler caught a pass for the seventh consecutive game.
• Andrew Feaster blocked a punt, SDSU's first since Eric Pinkins had one last year at UNLV (Nov. 26, 2011).
• Vaness Harris had his second sack of the season and career.
• Eric Pinkins had his second career sack and a tackle for loss for the sixth consecutive game.
• Chance Marden connected on a 28-yard field goal and has now made eight straight after starting the season 0-for-3. He is 8-for-11 (72.7 pct.) this year on field goal attempts after San Diego State kickers were 6-for-15 (40.0 pct.) last season.
• Rene Siluano returned his first career punt for two yards.
