SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's golf team is set to compete in its final event of the fall this weekend in Sin City. The Aztecs will participate in the three-day Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, from Oct. 21-23, at the par-72, 6,230-yard Stallion Mountain Golf Club.

SDSU's starting five will consist of Emma Henrikson, Christine Wong, Amy Alston, Maureen Dunnagan and Rebecca Schneider, while Kristina Lynn will compete as an individual. The Aztecs are set to play single 18-hole rounds Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Action on Sunday and Monday will get underway at 7:30 a.m. PT, while Wednesday will commence with a shotgun start 7:45 a.m. PT. Live results, courtesy of GolfStat.com, will be available here.

The Collegiate Showdown will be represented by a field of 17 teams including host No. 36 UNLV. Along with No. 85 SDSU, the field includes 12 other top 100 squads in No. 25 Penn State, No. 37 Wisconsin, No. 41 Indiana, No. 48 Missouri, No. 54 Kansas State, No. 58 Washington State, No. 63 Minnesota, No. 69 Long Beach State, No. 71 Mississippi State, No. 73 Kennesaw State, No. 84 Fresno State and No. 88 Idaho. The remaining teams competing in Las Vegas include Colorado State, New Mexico State and North Texas.

The tournament represents the fourth of the fall season for the Aztecs. Earlier this year, San Diego State finished in a tie for 13th place at the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., before producing a tied-for-11th-place effort at the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo. Most recently, the Aztecs competed at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Sammamish, Wash., from Oct. 8-10, and finished in 11th place.

At the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invite, Henrikson turned in SDSU's top performance over 54 holes, shooting an 11-over 227 to finish in a tie for 13th place. Henrikson also carded the low round of the tournament for the Aztecs as she fired a 1-over 73 during second-round action. Wong, meanwhile, finished tied for 34th place, after turning in a 19-over 235.
