The San Diego State lacrosse team scored the first seven goals of the game en route to a 19-6 victory over Regis (Colo.) Saturday afternoon in Denver. The Aztecs snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 4-8 with the win, while the Rangers dropped to 6-5.

SDSU scored the first seven goals before Danica Cutshall got Regis on the board with 17:21 left in the opening half. San Diego State then scored the final six goals of the half to open up a commanding 13-1 lead at the intermission. A Michaela Jarvis goal early in the second half put the visitors up, 14-1. Sophie Koubek and Isabelle Pickett each had three goals, while Bailey Ewing scored twice. Catherine Shepardson had a goal and an assist, and Lauren Maack, Falon Manns and Christina Ricciardulli also added goals for San Diego State, which outshot the Rangers, 32-11, in the contest.
