The San Diego State lacrosse team used a 9-1 run to close out the first half en route to a 15-8 victory over Fresno State in its final regular season home game of the season. The Aztecs (3-5, 1-3 MPSF) won their first-ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game, while the Bulldogs dropped to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in MPSF play.

SDSU spotted FS two early goals, and then scored nine of the next 10 goals to open up a 9-3 advantage at the half. Fresno State answered with the first two goals of the second half to get within four at 9-5, but San Diego State came out of a timeout with three goals over a 4:15 span to take at 12-5 lead with 19:57 remaining. Back-to-back goals by the Bulldogs got the visitors within five at 12-7 before the Aztecs finished with three of the final four goals over the final 14:41 for the 15-8 win. The victory snapped SDSU's season-long three-game losing streak.

Sophie Koubek added three goals on four shots, while Bailey Ewing, Kelly Jones, Grace Korandovich, Olivia Lash, Jackie Mills, Madeline Ross and Christina Ricciardulli chipped in with a goal apiece.
