Meet the Aztecs! This spring we'll introduce you to the Aztec Rowing Team so that you can learn more about each athletes personality, background, and life at San Diego State University. First up are the co-captains, Julie Moyer and Romaine Desclos.

What is your favorite think about Aztec Athletics? The sense of community and the fact that I have an excuse to wear workout clothes to class.
What is your favorite aspect about Aztec Rowing? My teammates!
Why did you choose SDSU? I fell in love with the campus and you can't beat the school spirit. Go Aztecs!
What is your favorite restaurant in San Diego? Sprinkles Cupcakes!
What does your busiest day look like? Wake up, eat a little breakfast, practice, nap, class, Starbucks, class, practice, class, Starbucks, go to work at the frozen yogurt shop, go home, study, sleep!

What is your favorite on-campus hangout? Behind the art department because there's a pretty nice view of San Diego and amazing art to look at between classes.
What is your favorite thing to do in San Diego? Go on a bike ride on the 101, you're along the beach the whole time and it's an amazing workout.
What is your favorite thing about Aztec Athletics? In the athletic community at SDSU, I like that it's so easy to meet people who share the same if not similar goals and who are experiencing practices, races, competitions, class and life just as you are.
What is your favorite aspect about Aztec Rowing? It keeps me in shape and gives me a routine to follow. It really allows me to be more efficient with my time.
Why did you choose SDSU? Why wouldn't anyone choose SDSU?
