SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's tennis team returns home on Thursday for a 1 p.m. PT match against No. 16 Fresno State at the Aztec Tennis Center. SDSU is coming off a week where it moved up 18 spots to No. 42 in the most recent ITA Team Rankings.
While the Aztecs dropped their last contest at No. 1 USC on Feb. 24, they are 5-2 on the season and both losses have come to top-10 teams.
The Bulldogs, meanwhile, are 8-1 on the year and currently on an eight-match winning streak. Fresno State recently defeated UNLV, 5-2, on Feb. 26.
San Diego State is looking to avenge a 6-1 loss to the Bulldogs in a match contested at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center in Feb. 2011.
After the match against Fresno State, the Aztecs will face off against William & Mary on March 6. Match time is scheduled for 2 p.m. PT at the Aztec Tennis Center.
