SDSU Game Notes at Air Force

The only unbeaten in Mountain West Conference play, the first-place San Diego State women's basketball team competes in its third consecutive Saturday road outing when it heads to Colorado to take on Air Force, beginning at Noon MT at Clune Arena.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the seventh year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 337-241 in 20 seasons, while she is 256-176 in her 15 campaigns at SDSU.
-Air Force Head Coach Andrea Williams: Williams is in her second season as head coach of the Falcons. She has compiled a school record of 14-35 and owns a career mark of 26-70 in four years.
-Series History: San Diego State has dominated the series, sporting a 22-6 all-time record against Air Force. The two squads, however, split last year's two meetings with the home team coming out ahead in both. SDSU won the most recent matchup in San Diego, 68-50, on Feb. 19, 2011.
