Gameday Tidbits
* Today's game will tipoff at 1:05 p.m. PT.
* The game between UNLV and San Diego State is the only game today between two top-25 teams.
* For the second consecutive season, San Diego State forward Tim Shelton has written and performed a song about the Aztec basketball team. A 66-second version of the 3:10 song will played as the intro video prior to the announcement of the San Diego State starting lineup. This year's song, entitled "Aztec Motto," is making its debut today.
* Former San Diego State wide receiver J.R. Tolver is scheduled to lead the SDSU student section in the pregame "I Believe" chant. Tolver was a member of the Aztec Football team from 1998-2002
* San Diego State postgame interviews will take place on the mezzanine level room of Viejas Arena (credential required). UNLV postgame interviews will take place outside their locker room in the North corridor.
Tapley Among National Leaders
* San Diego State junior guard Chase Tapley moved up to third in the country in three-point field-goal percentage in the latest NCAA Ratings (through Thursday's games).
* Tapley is shooting 50.0 percent from beyond the arc, having made 43-of-86 attempts from beyond the arc. The 43 makes are a career-high, surpassing his sophomore campaign effort of 41.
* Tapley has a three-point field goal in 15 consecutive games and multiple treys in 10 consecutive outings.

* This is the fifth home sellout of the season and the 15th time in the last 23 home games.
