SAN DIEGO - Selected San Diego State men's and women's basketball games at the 2011 Conoco Mountain West Conference Championship will be simulcast in the San Diego market on Channel 4 San Diego.
For San Diego State's men's basketball quarterfinal game against No. 7 seed Utah, the 6 p.m. PT contest will be televised live on The Mtn. HD and simulcast on Channel 4 San Diego for Cox Cable subscribers only. If SDSU advances, it will take on the winner of the (3) UNLV- (6) Air Force game on Friday at 8:30 p.m. That game will be televised on CBS College Sports HD and Channel 4 San Diego for both Cox and Time Warner customers. Should the men advance to Saturday's championship game, it will be shown live on VERSUS HD on Saturday at 4 p.m. All SDSU men's basketball games will also be aired live on radio in Southern California on AM 600 KOGO.
Coverage of the women's basketball team begins on Tuesday. The Aztecs' first-round game vs. seventh-seeded New Mexico at 7 p.m. PT will be aired live on radio on XTRA Sports 1360 AM. If the Aztecs advance to the quarterfinals, they will face No. 3 seed Wyoming on Wednesday at 7 p.m. That game will be available live on The Mtn., and on a tape-delay basis at 10:30 p.m. on Channel 4 for Cox subscribers only. Should the Aztecs advance to Friday's semifinal round, The Mtn. and Channel 4 (Cox customers only) will both have live coverage of their 2:30 p.m. contest against No. 2 seed TCU. The MWC Tournament championship game will be televised live on VERSUS on Saturday at 1 p.m. All women's games will be aired on radio on XTRA Sports 1360 AM.
The Mtn. is available on DirecTV channel 616, San Diego Cox Cable 320 and Las Vegas Cox Cable 334.
