SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State softball game against the National Pro Fastpitch All-Stars, originally scheduled for 6 p.m. PT tonight (Friday), has been postponed until 1 p.m. PT Saturday.

Additionally, the Aztecs will play San Diego (USD) at 4 p.m. PT Saturday, while the game against Palomar CC, which was scheduled for 11 a.m. PT, has been canceled.

There will be no tickets for sale at the gate on the day of the game. Fans must have their ticket in hand to attend. Gates open for the SDSU-NPF contest at 11:30 a.m. PT. Seating is first come, first serve.

Team NPF is comprised of athletes from all four of the NPF teams - Akron Racers, Chicago Bandits, Tennessee Diamonds and USSSA Florida Pride - and includes an accomplished list of competitors.

Highlighting the team is 2004 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist and 2008 Silver Medalist Jessica Mendoza. Mendoza, who served as the president of the Women's Sports Foundation from 2009-10, was the 2011 NPF Player of the Year and a four-time All-American at Stanford.

Ashley Charters (2010 U.S. World Cup/Washington), Andrea Duran (2008 U.S. Olympian/UCLA), Caitlin Lever (2008 Canadian Olympian/Georgia Tech), Bianca Mejia (2007 U.S. Junior Olympian/Long Island), Amber Patton (2009 U.S. National Team/DePaul) and Jenn Salling (2008 Canadian Olympian/Washington) have also recently represented their country on the international stage.

Other athletes on the NPF roster include GiOnna DiSalvatore (two-time All-American at UCLA), Jamee Juarez (four-time all-Big Ten selection at Ohio State), Brittany McKinney (2011 all-NPF selection/North Carolina), Lisa Norris (2010 NPF Pitcher of the Year/North Carolina), Angeline Quiocho (three-time all-MW performer at Brigham Young), Roya St. Clair (all-Big Ten pick at Michigan), Kristina Thorson (2011 all-NPF selection/California) and Jessica Williams (four-time all-Conference USA pick at Marshall).

The NPF All-Stars are 17-1 heading into the game with San Diego State. The game will be the All-Stars' 19th in their 20-game schedule.
