Team Notes

• San Diego State snaps Arizona's 22-game home winning streak. The Wildcats entered the season with the nation's seventh-longest active homecourt winning streak.

• SDSU is the first non-conference team to win at McKale Center since Dec. 28, 2009.

• Arizona's last home loss as a ranked team to an unranked non-conference opponent was Nov. 17, 2007. The streak spanned 69 games.

• The Wildcats' last home loss as a ranked team to an unranked opponent was Jan. 5, 2008. The streak spanned 62 games.

• The Aztecs defeat Arizona for the second time in a row for just the second time in the history of the series, which dates to 1945. The last time SDSU beat the Wildcats in consecutive meetings was during the 1971-72 and 1972-73 campaigns.

• SDSU wins in Tucson after losing seven straight in the city. San Diego State is now 2-14 within city limits.

• The Aztecs, however, have now won three consecutive games in McKale Center. A year ago, SDSU defeated Northern Colorado and Temple in the NCAA Tournament.

• San Diego State improves to 7-20 all-time vs. Arizona.

• The Aztecs have won seven in a row vs. the Pac-12 Conference and improve to 2-0 this season against the league.

• San Diego State has won five straight over the Pac-12 at road/neutral sites.

• SDSU held Arizona to a season-low 33.3 percent shooting.

Player Notes
• Chase Tapley led all scorers with 17 points... It is his fifth double-figure scoring game of the season and the fourth time he has led the team in scoring this season... Tapley was 2-for-8 from three-point distance in his two previous games. He finished the game by hitting three of his four attempts... The junior had a game-high four assists after he had four combined in his three previous games... He led the team in the category for the second time this season.

• James Rahon, who scored 13 points, logged his third double-digit scoring game of the year and 14th of his Aztec career. ... Rahon added four rebounds in a team-high 34 minutes.

• Garrett Green led the team with seven rebounds... It is the third time this season he has owned team-high honors.
