SDSU Faces Another Stern Test Wednesday at Arizona
* SDSU, which is receiving votes in both major basketball polls, continues its most challenging non-conference schedule in recent memory on Wednesday when it faces No. 23/23 Arizona in a pre-Thanksgiving test at McKale Center. The game is set for 6:30 p.m. MT and will be aired live on FS Arizona Plus and Channel 4 San Diego.

* Through Monday's, games, SDSU is tied with Alabama, Duke, Indiana, Marquette and Valparaiso for the most victories in Division I (5).

* For the second time this season and second time in nine days, the Aztecs, who have won two straight games, will hit the road and face a nationally ranked team. Last Tuesday, San Diego State played its fourth game in five days at No. 11/12 Baylor and were ultimately downed, 77-67.

* The Aztecs rebounded from their lone loss of the season by returning home and beating USC and upstart Long Beach State, which was coming off a road victory at No. 9 Pittsburgh. SDSU trailed at halftime in both games and rallied to take the lead midway through the second half. In their most recent outing, the Aztecs needed overtime to defeat the 49ers and were carried by Jamaal Franklin's 21 points and nine rebounds, James Rahon's 20 points and Xavier Thames' 15.

One of the Elite
* At 5-1, San Diego State is 39-4 (90.7 winning percentage) since the beginning of last season.
