The San Diego State lacrosse team has released its schedule for the 2012 season, head coach Kylee White announced today. The Aztecs will play 15 games in their first-ever collegiate season, including seven contests at home.

SDSU kicks off its inaugural season on Feb. 10 in Palo Alto, Calif., in a neutral game against Ohio State. White played for the Buckeyes from 1999-2002, co-captaining the 2002 squad to an 11-5 mark, a runner-up finish in the American Lacrosse Conference and Ohio State's first NCAA bid.

San Diego State then begins a seven-game homestand on Feb. 17 against Cincinnati. Following the contest with the Bearcats, the Aztecs host UC Davis (Feb. 19), Saint Mary's (March 2) and Detroit (March 6).

On March 10, SDSU begins its first season of Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) play when it hosts California.

Following home league games with Oregon (March 18) and Fresno State (March 20), San Diego State starts a seven-game road trip with three non-conference contests in Pennsylvania. In the Quaker State, the Aztecs will meet La Salle (March 25), Lafayette (March 28) and Saint Francis (PA) (March 30).

SDSU closes out its non-conference campaign on April 7 vs. Regis in Denver, Colo., before ending its regular season with conference games at Denver (April 9), Saint Mary's (April 13) and Stanford (April 15), which has won seven consecutive MPSF tourney titles.

The MPSF tournament will follow from April 26-29.
