SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State rowing team will get its fall season officially underway when it travels to Gold River, Calif., to participate in the annual Head of the American Regatta at Lake Natoma on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The Aztecs will be sending only its No. 1 Varsity 8+ boat to compete in a race slated to get underway at 1:45 p.m. That event will include 16 other boats with the Pac-10 represented by a total of 10 entries form Stanford, Cal, USC and Washington. Other teams scheduled to compete in the Varsity 8+ division include St. Mary's, Santa Clara, Long Beach State, Sonoma State, UC Irvine and Mills College.

SDSU's boat will be crewed by coxswain Jennifer Mille along with Julie Moyer (stroke), Chelsee Boyer (seven), Ciara Estrada (six), Romaine Desclos (five), Darian Kimball (four), Kaitlyn Goss (three), Kate Raymond (two) and Kayla McKenna (bow).
