Having matched its best record (4-2) after six games since the 1977 squad opened 5-1, San Diego State finally returns to action on Saturday following a stretch of 15 consecutive days without a game to face Wyoming. Game time is set for 7 p.m. PT at Qualcomm Stadium.
The contest will be televised nationally on The Mtn., and is also available to San Diego Cox Cable subscribers on Channel 4 San Diego.
In its last game on Thursday, Oct. 13, San Diego State returned to the victory column with a 41-27 triumph at Air Force. After the Falcons broke a 17-17 halftime tie with an early third quarter field goal, the Aztecs took control, scoring 24 unanswered points. Sophomore running back Ronnie Hillman carried 27 times for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while senior quarterback Ryan Lindley was 15-of-21 for 209 yards and two TDs.
Tickets for Saturday's contest, which is a designated UT Youth and Family Night game, start at just $11. In addition, $16 tickets are available for half price when buying four or more.
This is the first of two consecutive home games for SDSU, which will face New Mexico next week. This is the only time this season that the Aztecs play consecutive home outings.
