Aztec Story Lines
- San Diego State begins a season-ending three-game road trip this week as the schedule takes them to Wyoming and Air Force. The Aztecs will face the Cowgirls on Friday before facing the Falcons on Sunday. SDSU wraps up the regular season on Friday, Oct. 28, at UNLV.

- The Aztecs, winners of two of their last three, will face the hottest team in the league on Friday in Wyoming. The Cowgirls have not lost since a 2-1 double-overtime setback against Cleveland State on Sept. 9. Since then, Wyoming has gone unbeaten in its last nine and posted a record of 6-0-3 during that time. The 3 p.m. MT match will showcase the preseason favorite in SDSU and the current league leader in UW.

- San Diego State, which entered last week riding a two-game winning streak, heads to the Mountain Time Zone fresh off a disappointing 1-0 home loss to Boise State on Senior Day. The Aztecs dominated every statistical category, but a 52nd-minute goal that needed the help of the left post held up as SDSU could not win its final home game for senior Cat Walker.

- The Aztecs are 3-3 in games away from Montezuma Mesa and 2-2 in true road outings, but have won their last two. Two weeks ago, San Diego State routed TCU, 4-0, before shutting down Texas, 1-0.

- SDSU has not allowed a goal on the road since the 64:15 mark at No. 16 Santa Clara. Since then, the Aztecs have held their opposition scoreless for 205 minutes, 45 seconds while on the road.

- Goalkeepers Rachel Boaz and Megan Allaire, and the San Diego State defense has been solid despite the loss to Boise State on Sunday. The unit has allowed just one goal over the last 295 minutes, 45 seconds.

- Boaz leads the Mountain West (conference games only) with a 0.32 goals against average after allowing a league-low one goal. The Murrieta, Calif., native also ranks second in shutouts (1) and third in save percentage (.833).

- The one goal allowed in Mountain West action is a conference best and is a clear indicator of how the defense is playing. As a result of the group's performance, Boaz has faced just six shots on goal through three games.

- SDSU also leads the conference (league games only) in goals against average (0.31) and is tied for first with New Mexico in shutouts (2).

- Freshman Hannah Keane sits in a tie for third place after having scored the second-most goals (2) in Mountain West play. The Sacramento, Calif., native, along with Air Force's McKenna Fox, lead all MW freshmen in goals and points (4).

- San Diego State has enjoyed success when it comes to playing Wyoming. The Aztecs are 10-2-1 against the Cowgirls all-time and have won six straight, all of which have been shutouts. During its six-game winning streak, SDSU has outscored UW, 15-0. A year ago, San Diego State beat the Cowgirls, 2-0, in the regular season and 4-0 in the conference tournament quarterfinals, both of which were contested at SDSU Sports Deck.

- The Aztecs' two losses and one tie vs. Wyoming have all occurred in Laramie. SDSU lost, 1-0, in 2005, 3-1 in 2003 and played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw in 2001.

- SDSU has also ended on the winning side of the ledger more times than not in its series history with Air Force. The Aztecs are 13-1-1 against the Academy and take a four-game winning streak into Sunday's game. SDSU is also unbeaten in its last 10 vs. AFA and is 9-0-1 in those outings.

- The Aztecs' only loss to Air Force occurred in 2001 (L, 3-0) and both teams played 110 minutes in a 2-2 tie in 2006.
