SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's soccer team placed four players on TopDrawerSoccer.com's Mountain West top-20 list, which was released on Monday.

Cat Walker is third on the website's rankings and is followed by teammates Soledad Gomez (No. 12), Rachel Boaz (No. 15) and Haley Palmer (No. 17).

Walker, a senior midfielder, leads the Aztecs with six goals and 13 points. Last weekend, Walker assisted on Sophie Metz's game-winner at Texas in SDSU's 1-0 victory.

A sophomore midfielder, Gomez is tied for second on the team with two assists and has started all 14 games in which she has seen action.

Boaz, this week's MW Defensive Player of the Week, is coming off a stellar weekend where she combined with Megan Allaire to shut out TCU in a 4-0 win and blanked Texas while playing all 90 minutes. The redshirt freshman goalkeeper has a GAA of 1.03, 34 saves and five shutouts.

Palmer, meanwhile, leads the team with four assists while playing along San Diego State's backline. The sophomore was a part of a defense that is coming off two straight shutouts, which marks the first time SDSU has accomplished the feat in 2011.

The Aztecs return to action on Sunday, Oct. 16, when they welcome Boise State to SDSU Sports Deck. First tap is set for 11 a.m. PT.
