SDSU Game Notes vs. TCU

San Diego State opens its 13th season of play in the Mountain West Conference on Saturday against defending Rose Bowl champion TCU. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT at Qualcomm Stadium.

The game will be televised nationally in high definition by CBS Sports Network and it will be simulcast on Channel 4 San Diego (Cox Cable subscribers).

Saturday is Homecoming at SDSU. In conjunction with the event, and in honor of Marshall Faulk's recent induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the first 28,000 fans in attendance will receive a Marshall Faulk No. 28 hat, courtesy of Associated Students. The hat has the No. 28 on it, as well as the San Diego State and the Pro Football Hall of Fame logos. Faulk will be in attendance at the game.

After having a bye last week, the Aztecs will now play twice in a six-day span. San Diego State will follow the TCU game by playing at Air Force next Thursday night (Oct. 13).

Tickets for the TCU contest start at $11 and are available at GoAztecs.com, SDSU Ticket Office (Qualcomm Stadium, gate E) and by calling (619) 283-SDSU.
