SDSU Game Notes vs. BYU in PDF Format
The Aztec women's basketball team plays for the first time in a week, as San Diego State resumes conference play when it faces Brigham Young on Wednesday at Viejas Arena. Tip time is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST.
SDSU had a bye in its league slate over the weekend after returning from a tough 61-58 loss at Air Force on Wednesday. The contest was the Aztecs' fourth straight to be decided by exactly three points, while it was the team's fifth out of five league outings to have a three-point margin or less.
San Diego State will play each of its two contests this week vs. squads that are currently tied for second place in the Mountain West Conference standings with identical 4-1 records. Brigham Young comes to town on Wednesday with a 12-7 overall mark, including its lone conference defeat at TCU (54-51) on Jan. 19. After dropping their first two games of the campaign, the Cougars won eight of their next nine before rounding out non-league action with three straight losses.
SDSU has won two straight against BYU and will be looking to match its longest win streak in the 41-game series overall. Chris Ello will have the live webcast (audio & video), while live stats will also be available on goaztecs.com.
