SAN DIEGO - Two-time national coach of the year and San Diego State head coach Steve Fisher is set to coach a pair of exhibition games featuring several NBA draftees on Sept. 21 and 22 in Utah.

Fisher will coach a squad highlighted by former SDSU standout and NBA draft pick Kawhi Leonard, who is a member of the San Antonio Spurs. Both teams, including Fisher's, will be chosen in a draft-style format the week of the event.

The game on Sept. 21 will take place at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, while the Sept. 22 contest is set for Marriott Center in Provo. Tip time for both games is slated for 7 p.m. MT.

This past season, Fisher guided the Aztecs to their second straight Mountain West championship and their second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. SDSU finished 2011 with a school-record 34 victories, including two wins in the NCAA Tournament, and appeared in the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.

Leonard, meanwhile, was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. Shortly thereafter, the Riverside, Calif., native had his rights traded to San Antonio. Leonard was the 18th NBA draft pick in school history, the first since Michael Cage in 1984, and the 13th for Fisher.
