SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State football team has been projected to finish second in the Mountain West with a 5-2 league record and a 9-3 overall mark in Sports Illustrated's 2011 College Football Preview.
The Aztecs return 14 starters and seven all-conference selections for the 2011 season, including explosive sophomore running back Ronnie Hillman, 2010 MW passing leader Ryan Lindley and conference sack leader Miles Burris.
SDSU is set for its first official scrimmage of fall camp, as it plays host to Aztec Family Day, which begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Qualcomm Stadium. The free event is returning to Qualcomm for the first time in three years and will feature an alumni flag football game, San Diego State's scrimmage and many other activities.
Season tickets, which have already surpassed totals from the past three seasons, remain on sale and start at just $66. Single-game tickets are also on sale and start at $11, except for the contest against Boise State. Tickets for the game against the Broncos start at $15.
