San Diego State released its 2011-12 men's basketball schedule Tuesday evening. Currently all 14 Mountain West games will be televised, as well as three non-conference tilts, with the possibility of more non-league games being added to the television schedule.

SDSU, the two-time defending Mountain West champions, could add as many as five games to its slate. Any games added will most likely be home dates.

The Aztecs, for the first time since the 2004-05 campaign, will play a pair of home exhibition games starting with Cal State San Marcos on Nov. 2. Five days later on Nov. 7, SDSU will welcome Point Loma Nazarene to campus. Game times for both have yet to be determined.

San Diego State opens the regular season at Viejas Arena as it plays host to the Basketball Travelers Classic. The three-day event, which is set for Nov. 11-13, will feature the Aztecs and three teams to be announced at a later date.

SDSU will hit the road for the first time for a Nov. 15 game at Baylor. The Bears, a preseason top-25 team, won 18 games a year ago and defeated the Aztecs in the 2009 NIT national semifinals at Madison Square Garden in New York in the school's last meeting.

San Diego State returns home for two games against a pair of Southern California programs in USC and Long Beach State. The contest vs. the Trojans is set for Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., and will be televised on The Mtn. The 49ers game is scheduled for Nov. 19. USC advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2011, while LBSU was a 22-game winner and NIT participant.

After a two-game homestand, the Aztecs travel for two, which will take them to Tucson, Ariz., and Santa Barbara, Calif. San Diego State will face Arizona at McKale Center on Nov. 23, a team that went 30-8 in 2010-11 and appeared in the Elite Eight. The game vs. UC Santa Barbara, meanwhile, is set for Nov. 26. The Gauchos won the Big West tournament title and advanced to their second straight NCAA Tournament in 2011.

The Aztecs will play host to a Missouri Valley Conference foe for the second consecutive year on Nov. 30 when Creighton visits Montezuma Mesa. The Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge game is slated for 7:30 p.m. PT and will be televised on The Mtn.

San Diego State will then play a rare home Sunday contest on Dec. 4 against California. The 2 p.m. PT game will also be on The Mtn., and comes a season after the Aztecs defeated the Golden Bears in Berkeley. SDSU has also won two of the last three in the series with California.

The Aztecs travel to the University of San Diego this season and the City Championship will be on the line on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

SDSU opens the Mountain West slate with arguably the toughest two opponents in the league in UNLV and New Mexico. The Aztecs open at Viejas on Jan. 14 vs. the Runnin' Rebels in a 1 p.m. PT tilt slated for NBC Sports Network, which was formerly known as VERSUS. The game vs. the Lobos in Albuquerque is set for Jan. 18 on CBS Sports Network. Game time has yet to be determined.

Next up for SDSU are the league's three Front Range universities in Air Force, Wyoming and Colorado State. The Aztecs will play host to the Falcons at 7 p.m. PT on The Mtn, while the contest vs. the Cowboys and Rams will be played in the Mountain Time Zone. San Diego State and Wyoming will tangle on Jan. 24, at 6:30 p.m., on The Mtn. SDSU and CSU, meanwhile, will get together on Jan. 28, at 2 p.m., on NBC Sports Network.

The Aztecs will close out the first half of conference action at home vs. Mountain West newcomer Boise State and TCU. The Broncos will make their first appearance as a MW member at Viejas Arena on Feb. 1 in a game televised by CBS Sports Network. Tip time has not been determined. As for the Horned Frogs, they will make their final trip to Montezuma Mesa on Feb. 4. That game will be televised at 7 p.m. PT on The Mtn.

San Diego State will open the second rotation of league play at UNLV on Feb. 11. The 1 p.m. PT date is set to air live on NBC Sports Network. Much like the first meeting with New Mexico, the second matchup will be televised by CBS Sports Network on Feb. 15 at a time to be determined.

SDSU travels to Air Force on Feb. 18 for a 2 p.m. MT contest to be aired live on NBC Sports Network. On Feb. 22, Wyoming makes its annual visit to Viejas (7:30 p.m. PT, The Mtn.), as does Colorado State on Feb. 25 (7 p.m. PT, The Mtn.).

The Aztecs close out the regular season with two straight road games - at Boise State and at TCU. SDSU's first-ever trip to Boise, Idaho, will occur on Feb. 29, in a 8 p.m. MT showdown on The Mtn. San Diego State's final trip to Fort Worth is set for March 3 at 6 p.m. CT. That game will air on The Mtn.

Once again, the Mountain West Championship will be held at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. The quarterfinals will be March 8 on The Mtn., while the semifinal round will be March 9 on CBS Sports Network. The final will take place March 10 and aired on NBC Sports Network.

The Aztecs are coming off a banner season in which they won a school-record 34 games, won their first-ever Division I NCAA postseason game and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. SDSU was ranked in the top 25 all season and earned a program-best ranking of No. 4 during its MWC championship campaign. San Diego State finished the year ranked No. 6 in the Associated Press poll and No. 11 in the ESPN/USA Today rankings.

SDSU men's basketball season tickets for the upcoming 2011-12 campaign are on sale now. Fans are encouraged to act quickly as less than 1,000 chair back seats remain.

Season tickets start at $99 and season ticket holders will receive one Aztec highlight DVD, per account, to commemorate last year's Sweet 16 season.

Season tickets are available online at GoAztecs.com, by calling (619) 283-SDSU, or by visiting the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium, Window E. The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. PT.
