SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State University athletic department recently announced that tickets for all seven football home games will go on sale next Monday, July 18, at 9 a.m. PT.
That includes high-profile Mountain West games against Boise State and TCU, longtime rival Fresno State, as well as the Washington State-KGB SkyShow game. Single-game tickets start at $11, except for the contest against Boise State. Tickets for the game against the Broncos start at $15.
SDSU opens the 2011 campaign at home on Sept. 3 against Cal Poly and a ticket special is being offered for the Welcome Week Student Tailgate. Fans can save $8 off regularly priced $16 tickets and $5 off regularly priced $11 tickets.
On Sept. 17, the Aztecs welcome Washington State to Qualcomm Stadium for the annual KGB SkyShow. This will mark the eighth straight year a SDSU football game has played host to the city's largest fireworks show.
The Red and Black will open Mountain West play on Oct. 8 against reigning Rose Bowl champion TCU. The game against the Horned Frogs is the annual homecoming contest and a hat giveaway is scheduled. The first 28,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Marshall Faulk No. 28 hat, courtesy of Associated Students.
San Diego State will honor the military in the Oct. 29 GEICO Fleet Week Classic against Wyoming. It will also be San Diego Union-Tribune Youth and Family Night, with regularly priced $16 tickets half off with purchase of four or more.
The Aztecs will return to Qualcomm Stadium on Nov. 19 to play host to the newest member of the Mountain West, Boise State. The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive rally towels, courtesy of Associated Students.
SDSU closes out the regular season on Dec. 3, and the week leading up to their contest against Fresno State has been tabbed as Rivalry Week. Associated Students has also scheduled another giveaway, as the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive pom-poms.
Season tickets, which have already surpassed totals from the past three seasons, remain on sale and start at just $66.
