WOODLAND, Calif. - A school-record six San Diego State women's water polo student-athletes earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic accolades, the league announced Monday night. This is the second straight year SDSU has had six players honored and marks the third time overall (2005).

The Aztec representatives include seniors Sarah Brady, Jenna Natalizio and Ashley Novack, juniors Kelly Campoli and Leanne Ford, and sophomore Alex Ford.

Brady finishes her San Diego State career as a three-time honoree, while Natalizio, Leanne Ford and Campoli each garnered their second consecutive award. Novack and Alex Ford, meanwhile, are first-time selections.

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, must be a sophomore academically, must have completed one full academic year at the school prior to this season, and must have competed in 50 percent or more of the institution's contests.

The Aztecs are coming off their program-record sixth straight 20-win campaign and finished the season ranked 11th in the final top-20 poll.
