SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State baseball program has announced the dates for its 2011 Summer High School Prospect Camp as well as three sessions of its popular 2011 Summer Youth Skills Camp. Each camp offers three days of elite, professional instruction provided by the Aztec coaching staff and players along with local area coaches. All instruction will take place at Tony Gwynn Stadium on the SDSU campus.
The 2011 High School Prospect Camp is for prep players aged 13-18 and will be conducted June 27-29 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The development of both offensive and defensive baseball skills as well as specialized instruction by position is part of the curriculum. Cost of this camp is $300.
The 2011 Youth All Skills Camp, open to all players between the ages of 6 and 12, offers the opportunity to receive offensive and defensive skill work, pitching skill work and base running along with games to help supplement the day's instruction. Three three-day sessions are available (July 5-7, 11-13 and 18-20) with instruction going from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The cost for each session is $225.
