GENERAL TEAM NOTES
- San Diego State went 15,713 days between NCAA Tournament victories (Div. II on March 9, 1968 to Div. I on March 17) and now has two NCAA Tournament wins in roughly 50 hours.
- SDSU was 0-6 the NCAA Tournament in 40 seasons at the Division I level entering 2010-11. The Aztecs now have two such wins under their belt.
- The Aztecs have picked up back-to-back NCAA Tournament wins for the first time since March 10-11, 1967 in the Division II tournament.
- San Diego State wins its 34th game of the season, which is the most in the nation. The Aztecs' 34-2 record is also the best in America.
- Steve Fisher finds himself in the Sweet 16 for the first time since the 1993-94 season when he guided Michigan to the second weekend.
- Fisher is in the Sweet 16 for the fifth time of his career. While at Michigan, Fisher guided the Wolverines to the Round of 16 in 1989, 1992, 1993 and 1994.

- Fisher improves to 3-0 vs. Temple in his career. All three wins have come in the NCAA Tournament with the last two coming in Tucson (1993).
- Steve Fisher is on the winning sidelines of a NCAA Tournament game for the 22nd time of his career. He has led teams to a 22-9 mark as a head coach in the NCAA Tournament.
- San Diego State extends its school record by winning its 43rd consecutive game against competition that was not ranked in the the top 25 at game time.

- The last double-overtime game the Aztecs played occurred on Jan. 24, 2004, at Colorado State. SDSU lost that match-up, 92-82.
- SDSU has now won 10 of its last 11 overtime games. The last OT game for San Diego State (prior to tonight) was on on Feb. 6, 2010, at No. 15/23 New Mexico. The Aztecs fell to the Lobos, 88-86.
- SDSU was 9-for-9 today from the free-throw line. It was the second time this season that San Diego State was perfect from the line (other was a 4-for-4 night vs. IUPUI on Nov. 21.

- Billy White (16 points, 13 rebounds) - Posted his career-high third straight double-double... It is his fifth career double-double... His 13 rebounds tied a career high... Today marked the first time in his career in which he has grabbed 10 rebounds or more in three straight outings... Recorded his sixth double-figure rebounding game of his career... Reached double-figures in scoring for the sixth consecutive game, extending his season-long streak... The last time he reached double-figures in scoring six straight games was the final game of 2008-09 and in his first five games of last season... The double-figure scoring performance is his 18th of the season and the 62nd of his career... Is averaging 14.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in the postseason (three games in MWC tournament, two in NCAA tournament).
- Kawhi Leonard (16 points, 9 rebounds) - Posted his 32nd double-figure scoring effort, which extends his career-long streak of 14 straight games with at least 10 points... Is averaging 17.6 points and 9.4 rebounds in the postseason (three games in MWC tournament, two in NCAA tournament).

Knocked down at least two three-point field goals in each of his last three games (8-for-15 over that stretch)... Posted third straight 10-plus point effort, his 14th such game of the season and the 27th of his career... Today marked the first time this season, and the second time of his career, in which he registered double figures in scoring.
