GENERAL TEAM NOTES
*  San Diego State wins its 30th game of the season and marks the first time the Aztecs have posted a 30-win season in the 90-year history of the program. Prior to this season, SDSU's school-record for victories was 26.
*  SDSU matches Kansas and Belmont for the most victories in NCAA Division I.
* This marks Steve Fisher's second 30-win season of his career. Fisher guided the 1992-93 Michigan team to a 31-5 overall record and helped the Wolverines advanced to the NCAA championship game.
*  SDSU has won five consecutive games on the Thomas & Mack Center floor (three at 2010 MWC Championship, Feb. 12 at UNLV, and tonight).
* SDSU has won seven straight games in Las Vegas city limits (three at 2010 MWC Championship, Dec. 21-22 at South Point Arena, Feb. 12 at UNLV, and tonight).
* SDSU has now won 39 straight contests vs. unranked teams, 17 in a row over unranked clubs at road/neutral sites and five straight at neutral sites.
* Head coach Steve Fisher improves to 44-22 in postseason play (14-8 in MWC tournament, 10-5 in NIT, 20-9 in NCAA).
* SDSU is 8-1 in its last nine games played in March, 11-2 in its last 13 games played in the month and 15-3 in games played in the March since 2009.
* San Diego State is 16-1 in road or neutral games this season.
* SDSU has won 42 straight when leading with five minues to go in the game.
* The Aztecs have won 31 straight, and are 21-0 this season, when holding their opponents to 60 points or less.
* SDSU allowed its fewest points in a half, 15, since giving up 15 to Cal Poly on Dec. 13, 2010.

TOURNAMENT TEAM NOTES
* The Aztecs advance to the MWC semifinals for the fourth consecutive season and have won four straight quarterfinal games for the first time in the 12-year history of the league.
* This is the fourth consecutive conference postseason tournament in which San Diego State has won a game. That is the first time in the 41 seasons of Division I basketball that the Aztecs have won a postseason conference tournament in four straight seasons.
* SDSU improves to 14-8 in MWC Championship action (7-5 in quarterfinal games), which is the second-best overall record in the league tournament.
* San Diego State is now 7-1 all-time when playing as the higher seed in the MWC tournament.
* SDSU's 14-point margin of victory matched the MWC Championship school record.
* The Aztecs had 18 assists on 24 baskets and their assist total was two short of the MWC Championship school record.

SERIES NOTES
* The Aztecs have won five consecutive games over Utah, which extends a school record.
*  The five wins SDSU has compiled against Utah during the last two seasons equal the total number of wins SDSU had inb the 33 meetings prior to Steve Fisher's arrival on The Mesa. SDSU went 5-28 against Utah in the 33 meetings from Jan. 19, 1984, through Feb. 11, 1999.
* Of San Diego State's 18 all-time victories against Utah, Steve Fisher has been the head coach for 10 of them.
* SDSU snaps a five-game losing streak to Utah at neutral sites. This is the first neutral-site victory over Utah since March 6, 1986, in Laramie, Wyo.
* San Diego State allowed 50 points, which matched the series record for fewest points allowed by an Aztec squad.

* Kawhi Leonard (team-high 13 points, game-high 12 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers) - The sophomore recorded his 22nd double-double of the season and the 39th of his career... His previous career high for assists was six in this year's season opener at Long Beach State and last season vs. TCU (Jan. 16, 2010)... Recorded his ninth double-double of the season and the 19th of his career... He has three double-doubles in his last five games... He has four double-figure rebounding games in his last five outings... Posted his 19th double-figure scoring game of 2010-11 and his 36th of his career.

* Chase Tapley (7 points, season-high 5 assists, game-high 3 steals) - Matched his season high with five assists, something he has done three times this season... Had three steals, which was one off his career high.

* Billy White (11 points, season-high 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 blocked shot, 1 steal) - The senior reached double-figures for the third time in his last four games, the 14th time this season and the 58th time of his career... Grabbed a season-high nine rebounds, which matched his season best established at Gonzaga on Nov. 16, 2010.

* Jamaal Franklin (9 points, 1 rebound, 1 blocked shot, career-high 2 steals) - Set a career high for three-point field goals (3) and steals (2)... Season point total and point total vs. Utah... Has 55 points this season and 22 have come against Utah... 14 of his 38 rebounds have also come against Utah.
