SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State-Baylor softball game originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed until 6 p.m. Tuesday due to inclement weather.

Tuesday's match-up will the final game of the 21st annual Campbell/Cartier Classic, which has already been won by Long Beach State. The 49ers went 4-1 in the tourney with their lone loss coming to the Aztecs (8-10) by a 3-0 score. SDSU is 2-3 in the classic, while the Bears (19-2) are 3-1 with a 7-1 loss to Long Beach State.

Redshirt senior Lindsey Marquez (Tustin, Calif.) leads the San Diego State offense with a .333 average and 17 hits. Sophomore Kamerin May (Corona, Calif.) (.319) is also hitting over .300 for the Aztecs, while freshman Lorena Klopp (San Diego/Steele Canyon HS) (4 HR, 11 RBI) and junior Justeen Maeva (San Diego/Mira Mesa HS) (1 HR, 10 RBI) have combined for 21 RBIs.

Junior Bailey Micetich (Woodland, Calif.) leads the pitching staff with a 5-6 record and 2.64 ERA over 53 innings. She has 50 strikeouts and has tossed four complete games. Senior All-American Samantha Beasley (San Diego/Steele Canyon HS) is 2-3 with a 3.35 ERA and two saves over 46 innings. She has 53 strikeouts and has limited her opponents to a .218 batting average. The duo combined to go 2-2 with a 1.12 ERA over 31 1/3 innings over the weekend. They struck out 27 and held their five opponents, which included three nationally ranked teams, to a .204 average.

Dani Leal (.377, 6 HR, 13 RBI) and Whitney Canion (.367, 2 HR, 7 RBI) lead the Baylor offense, which is hitting .304 as a team. Canion (8-1, 0.59 ERA, 59.2 IP), Liz Paul (5-0, 1.40 ERA, 30.0 IP) and Courtney Repka (6-1, 1.45 ERA, 48.1 IP) all have pitched well for the Bears so far this season.
