*  San Diego State claims its fifth Mountain West Conference championship and second regular-season crown (2006 and 2011). The Aztecs also have three MWC tournament titles (2002, 2006 and 2010).

* This is just San Diego State's second regular-season title in the past 33 seasons. That covers all of SDSU's seasons in the Western Athletic Conference and Mountain West Conference.

*  San Diego State extends its school-record by winning its 38th consecutive game against teams that have not been ranked in the nation's top 25 at game time.

* San Diego State is tied with Kansas for the national lead in victories (29) and winning percentage (93.5 percent).

* San Diego State breaks the school-record with its 14th conference win of the season. The Aztecs claimed 13 Mountain West Conference wins en route to a 13-3 MWC record and an outright league championship in 2005-06.

* San Diego State wins its 29th game of the season, extending its school record. This is the third straight season the Aztecs have won at least 25 games (after failing to do so in the programs' first 87 seasons) and the sixth straight 20-win campaign for SDSU.

GAME NOTES

* The Aztecs were an impressive 18-for-19 from the free-throw line. The 94.7 percent free-throw percentage is the team's highest this season (min. 5 FTA). SDSU's previous season high was a 20-for-22 shooting exhibition (90.9 percent) at UNLV.

* The game was tied at intermission marking the first time the Aztecs have been tied after 20 minutes this season. SDSU has won four straight games and is 13-2 in the Steve Fisher era when entering the second half tied.
